MANILA, Philippines - O, hayan at confirmed na nga na bukod sa kanyang nearly two-year-old educational and informative show na Pinoy Explorer, Aga Muhlach will have another reality program sa TV5, ang game show na Let’s Ask Pilipinas.
Kakaiba ang game show na ito na franchised no less ng TV5 from Warner Bros. The contestants are not required to be present sa studio. Sa halip, they can participate via online. Or Skype.
Well, further mechanics of the show will be explained before Let’s Ask Pilipinas starts airing Oct. 14.
Meanwhile, as promised, Aga in Pinoy Explorer will share his fun-filled journeys and amazing discoveries sa ilang magagandang spots natin sa Pilipinas.
Starting this Sunday, halimbawa, 6 to 7 p.m., Aga will be seen visiting Romblon, known as the Marble Capital of the PhiÂlippines. Ganun man, instead of featuring its supposed well known na produkto, what Aga explored, togeÂther with volleyball sweetheart Gretchen Ho at National Women’s Football player Natasha Alquiros, are the secrets of the historic Romblon Triangle where allegedly the biggest maritime tragedies in the country happened.
Gretchen and Natasha will find time to also teach the students of Cawayan Elementary School in Romblon how to play volleyball and football.
All three also dived sa Tables Fun Resort para i- discover ang supposed Romblon mysterious Blue Hole.
Speaking of Gretchen, if her name sounds familiar to us in showbiz, it is because kasalukuyan siyang nali-link sa former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition runner-up (to Kim Chiu), Robi Domingo.
Now up and coming TV hosts, the two, met at the Ateneo de Manila University where they are still both students.
Pretty enough to become a movie or TV star, Gretchen appears not keen on joining showbiz. Obvious na kuntento na siya sa pagiging expert volleyball player.
Robi, on the other hand, ay kapansin-pansing sobrang nag-improve at naging confident sa pagiging host at proven by his stint bilang co-TV reporter ni Alex Gonzaga, nakababatang kapatid ni Toni Gonzaga, sa katatapos na finale ng The Voice of the Philippines with vocalist Mitoy Yonting of the Team Lea Salonga as champ.
In any case, balitang each time sumalang si Robi on stage, where, whether with Alex or not, tinu-tweet siya o kung hindi ay tini-text ng messages of love and encouragement ni Gretchen.
Ah, love.
Speaking of Aga naman, happy daw siya sa victory ni Megan Young sa katatapos na Miss World competition. Deserving daw ang dalaga na mapanalunan ang title.
Nakasama ni Aga si Megan sa kanyang comedy series na 3M (Malay Mo Ma-deveÂlop) which was his last as a Kapamilya.
Directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, it also starred AiAi delas Alas. Guess who was featured in that palabas? Tom Rodriguez.
In any case, noon pa man, siguro raw magtu-20 years old pa lamang si Megan (she’s now 23), sinasabi na niya sa dalaga na beauty queen material na ito.
Well, Aga should know, ’di ba naman? He was married to a former Bb. Pilipinas Universe, Charlene Gonzales.
Charlene emerged fourth runner-up in the Miss Universe tilt na ginanap dito sa Pilipinas. Indian Sushimita Sen won the title.
Dayanara Torres, Miss Universe 1993, crowned Sushimita.
No need to tell you na naging sina Aga at DaÂyaÂnara rin nang mag-join in local showbiz ang huli.
