Remember Carmen So, a popular Asian actress in Asia, who once appeared as Jericho Rosales’ leading lady in the soap Kahit Isang Saglit?

Well, we will get the chance to see her again, this time on the big screen opposite Jericho once more, when the indie film Alagwa will finally hit thea­ters nationwide in the country.

Jericho produced Alag­wa himself.  It’s about a fa­ther na suddenly nawala ang anak, dahil obviously sa kagagawan ng mga sin­dikato na talagang nagna­nakaw ng mga bata, para ang mga ito ay gawin nilang ‘‘alipin’’ kumbaga.

It was a few years later when father and son (played by child actor Bugoy Ca­riño) met again, and, of all places, in Hong Kong.

‘‘Napaka-moving nang pagtatagpo ng mag-ama. By then kasi marami ang importanteng parte ng katawan ng bata, foremost of which ang kanyang mga mata, ay wala,” anang isang malapit kay Jericho na kung ilang ulit nang napanood ang Alagwa.

Naipalabas na ang Alagwa sa ilang film­fests sa abroad. At napanalunan na nito ang ilang awards bilang best film.

Bugoy was awarded by the Gawad Urian the best child actor trophy in their awards ceremony this year.

Of Carmen, if we recall, she is the reason why Jericho’s supposed romance with Heart Evangelista abruptly came to an end.

Nagselos si Heart kay Carmen. But what has transpired between them is now water under the bridge.

Heart is, no doubt, now in love with Sen. Chiz Escudero. Jericho naman has announced his forthcoming marriage (most likely in January next year) to his girlfriend of nearly two years, Kim Jones, who is from Australia.

While Jericho will next be seen in a series that will co-star him for the first time with Angel Locsin, Heart is one of the lead stars ng pelikulang My Trophy Wife kasama nina Derek Ramsay, Cristine Reyes, at John Estrada.

Aga napanood ng live ang pagkanta ng YouTube sensation na si Aldrich Lloyd sa show ni Ellen DeGeneres

Remember YouTube sensation Aldrich Lloyd Talonding with his performance of the song Dance With My Father and with James Walter Bucong playing the guitar?

Well, Ellen DeGeneres was impressed and invited them to perform in her show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Well, natupad na ang pangako ni Ellen kay Aldrich Lloyd. And guess who was inside their studio at Warner Brothers na pinanood siya? Si Aga Muhlach. He was there para mapanood ang isang game show that TV5 will franchise from its foreign producer at nakatokang i-host ni Aga.

This is, of course, aside from his nearly three-year-old educational show in the Kapatid Network, Pinoy Explorer.

Paulo biglang nagsipag sa trabaho

Obvious na ’di totoong tinatamad si Paulo Avelino na magtrabaho for TV and the movies.

Well, he heard na tampok siya sa pang-Metro Manila Film Festival entry ng Skylight Films, Pagpag, which also stars the teenage love team nina Kathyrn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla.

What we do know, well, based on rumors, ay nagkalabuan silang talaga ng ina ng kanyang four-year-old son na si LJ Reyes.

He also has a guest role in 10,000 Hours starring Robin Padilla and directed by Joyce Bernal.
