Joey Marquez is excited kung paano raw kaya magre-react ang audiences sa kanyang role bilang isang agent ng National Bureau of Investigation, matapang at handang humarap sa laban sa bago niyang pelikulang On the Job (OTJ).
Well known as a comedian, known to his following as Tsong, dahil sa seemingly effortless niyang pagpaÂpatawa, admits himself na first time niyang gumanap ng role tulad nga sa OTJ.
Marami siyang action scenes. And somehow daw, feeling niya, the role somehow ‘‘upgraded’’ his knowhow sa showbiz.
Jason ginagawa ang lahat makabalik lang uli
Guess who we bumped into sa Starbucks inside the ELJ compound in ABS-CBN, Tuesday afternoon?
Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate, Jason Francisco, otherwise known as the boyfriend ni Melai Cantiveros who emerged sa PBB episode na pareho nilang sinalihan as champ.
The two of them were emerging as a comedy team via the gag show Banana Split Extra Scoop. There was, no doubt, that they would have made it.
Kung hindi nga lang Jason made the mistake of allowing his init ng ulo na mangibabaw simply because he just wanted to protect Melai.
It’s common knowledge kung paanong kanyang sinapak si John Prats, another Banana Split mainstay dahil, aniya, sobra namang binabastos nito ang kanyang girlfriend sa mga eksena nilang magkasama sa gag show.
John filed legal charges against him. And as a result as well, he was kicked out from their show.
According to Jason, na-realize niya ang kanyang mistake. Nag-apologize siya kay John. At sa lahat ng involved sa Banana Split.
But obvious na hindi sapat ang effort na ginawa at ginagawa niya para muling makabalik siya sa show.
Meantime, pahayag ni Jason, he does not mind starting from scratch anew. And he is grateful that the ABS-CBN management is again giving him the chance to be seen sa TV.
Ipinagmamalaki niyang katatapos lang niyang mag-guest sa isang upcoming episode na Wansapanataym.
Should he start ‘‘making it again,’’ he will make sure na ’di na niya paiiralin ang tapang at init ng ulo.
Well, Jason, good luck!
AiAi tuluyan nang pinalitan si Pokwang
Correction please, sabi ni AiAi delas Alas, she is not in Toda Max merely as a temporary replacement for Pokwang, who is not just busy with her concert tour abroad but for her new series, a drama, dubbed Mira Bella which young newcomer Julia Barretto topbills.
A ‘‘guaranteed’’ contract star of ABS-CBN, AiAi said she grabs just about any project assigned to her by the network. And for as long it has the approval of her talent manager Boy Abunda.
AiAi’s first co-starrer, Kung Fu Divas with Marian Rivera, is due for release in October. She co-produces the movie with Marian and Reality Entertainment.
Ang Star Cinema ang magre-release ng Kung Fu Divas.
