At habang lumalaki ito, well, he looks like a carbon copy of his dad.

At his age, he is almost as tall as Piolo. Kaya hinuhulaang as the boy ages, kumbaga, he will even grow taller than his dad. And he looks fit as well.

Kasalukuyang naninirahan si Iñigo with his mom sa Los Angeles, California where he is also completing his high school studies.

Kung si Piolo raw ang masusunod, he would want his son to finish a college course first bago pa man ito mag-venture into a profession, like showbiz.

But at the rate it is going daw, posibleng mag-artista na ang anak kapag bumalik ito sa Pilipinas during summer.

And it is likely that Piolo will give in lalo pa nga at nakikita niyang karamihan sa mga younger co-Star Magic talent niya ngayon ay pawang mga anak-artista.

To name three, let’s mention the names nina Julia Barretto (parents: Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto); Kiko Estrada (Gary Estrada at Cheska Diaz); at Diego Loyzaga (Cesar Montano at Teresa Loyzaga). All three are the stars of the upcoming series Mira Bella.

Sa katatapos na birthday blowout ni Pat-P Daza-Planas, daughter of top newsman and columnist Julie Yap-Daza, and isa sa top guns ng ABS-CBN, ang dami-daming showbiz usapan, na sayang at ’di namin puwedeng i-share sa inyo dahil mostly off the record, ang nabuo sa groupmates na sina Susan Roces, Viva Group of Companies executive June Rufino, Mother Lily Monteverde (no need to introduce who she is), advertising executive and expert Lawrence Tan, banker and art collector Danny Dolor, his entertainment writer-friend, Ronald Constantino, and talent managers Shirley Kuan, Girlie Rodis, and Dolor Guevarra, who came with daughters JP and Sness, and of course, yours truly.

Obvious, though, na hanggang ngayon ay nagkikimkim pa rin ng hinanakit si Mother Lily kay Marian Rivera kahit pa kumita naman ang last film which she and GMA 7 Films produced for her and Richard Gutierrez, ang My Lady Boss.

Kung sabagay, ’di naman totally ay walang entry si Mother Lily for the MMFF as she is co-producer to the Daniel Padilla-Kathryn Bernardo project Pagpag with Star Cinema and Skylight Films.

As she said, dati-rati naman ay nakakatatlo siyang entries each year sa MMFF. This way, marami raw siyang nabibigyang trabaho lalo pa nga at magpa-Pasko.

But her current frustrations, caused by Marian, will definitely not stop her from producing more movies lalo na next year.

In the planning stage na is a rom-com (romance-comedy) which will co-star Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez who play “unlikely” couple in the GMA 7 series My Husband’s Lover.

Going back to Pat-P’s blowout, it was held sa Wooden Spoon, owned by her ace chef cousin Sandy Daza, at located sa harap ng Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan St., Quezon City.

Personal…

Speaking of birthdays, happy returns of the day for Francis Simeon, liaison editor of Star Studio, who marks his birthday bukas (July 17).

(Happy birthday Francis. – SVA)
