Perfect Set Dream Makers magpapakilala sa SJNI

MANILA, Philippines — Pakay ng guest team Perfect Set Dream Ma­kers na magpasiklab agad sa kanilang mga laban sa 2026 Shakey’s Juniors National Invitationals na lalaruin sa Playtime FilOil Arena sa San Juan nga­yong araw.

Masisilayan ang California-based Dream Ma­kers na papalo sa kanilang back-to-back games kontra One La Salle at University of Santo Tomas sa alas-11 ng umaga, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Magbabanatan naman ang Arellano University High School at Pusong Azul sa tournament na suportado ng Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken, Potato Corner, at R and B Milk Tea.

Pero tiyak na tututok ang mga volleyball fans sa foreign squad na Dream Makers na binubuo ng Filipino-Americans.

“We’re looking forward to just getting the girls’ exposure in a new country, letting them play a different type of team, playing just a diffe­rent level of volleyball,” ani Dream Makers assistant coach Mackenzie Dorney.

Haharapin ng Perfect Set ang One La Salle na galing sa 21-25, 26-28 talo sa kamay ng Bacolod-based St. John’s Institute.

“I think that having that experience will be super beneficial for them in the future, and even going to a new place or just playing different types of teams that play a different style of volleyball,” dagdag ni Dorney.

Pagkatapos ay babangga ang Dream Ma­kers sa reigning Shakey’s Girls Volleyball Invitational League (SGVIL) Rising Stars Cup  Division 1 champion University of Sto. Tomas Junior Tigresses.

Paniguradong mapapalaban ang Dream ma­kers sa Junior Tigresses dahil nais ng huli na sakmalin ang pangalawang sunod na panalo.

May dalawang tsansa para makabangon ang Pusong Azul na lumuhod muna sa Guam-based Pacific Volleyball Acade­my, 25-23, 17-25, 15-7 sa kanilang unang laban, makakatapat nila ang Lady Braves at St. John’s Institute.
