CEBU, Philippines — Ang nabantog nga Pinoy international boxing referee ug judge nga si Atty. Danrex Joseph Tapadasan mikab-ot og makasaysayanong dungog sa iyang karera human siya napili ngadto sa International Boxing Federation (IBF) Board of Directors.

Si Tapdasan nanghawod sa botasyon uban ang kinatibuk-ang 51 ka boto aron pagkulit og kasaysayan isip labing unang Pinoy nga napili sa IBF Board. Miduyog sila nilang Melvina Lathan ug Randy Neumann nga milampos pagpabilin sa ilang puwesto uban ang 35 ug 34 ka mga boto.

"I am deeply honored and humbled to have been elected as a member of the IBF Board of Directors," matud pa ni Tapdasan, nga nakatrabaho sa daghan na kaayong propesyonal nga mga away dinhi ug gawas sa nasud sukad niadtong 2009.

"As the first ever Filipino elected to the Board, I carry this responsibility with great pride, humility, and commitment. I remain dedicated to promoting integrity in officiating, education and development of boxing officials, and unity within the global boxing community," padayon pa ni Tapdasan.
