Managsoong chua mihimo'g kasaysayan sa shaabaa

Ang managhsoong Benedict Andre ug Anton Bennett Chua mitagik sa ilang mga pangan sa bato sa bag-ohay pang natapos nga Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 28.   

Si Andre, nga miduwa sa Xchange Forex Batch 2018, ug ang maguwang niyang si Anton sa Imperial House of Furniture Batch 2015 parehong nasud sa Mythical Five aron mamahimong labing unang igsoon nga naapil sa pinili nga grupo sa 30 ka tuig nga kasaysayan sa labing karaan nga alumni-based league sa Sugbo.

"Personally, I feel super happy to share this achievement with my older brother. This achievement is even more meaningful because we made our parents, Benedict and Anna, super proud as it is rare to see brothers playing against each other and for both of us to achieve Mythical 5 honors," matud pa ni Andre.

"We also hope to make this an inspiration to our youngest brother, Benj. He is still in high school, so the sky is the limit for him."

"The feeling is surreal. I actually did not expect that both of us would be standing on the same stage together so its a blessing for us and proud achievement for our family," paambit pa ni Anton.

Ang nakalingaw kay ang ilang teams maoy nag-abot sa kampiyonato diin ang Batch 2018 ni Andre mi-sweep sa Batch 2015 ni Anton sa best-of-three finals series aron langkaton ang korona sa Division C.

"It felt like we already won because it is another reason to make our parents proud.  Also, it felt like a throwback to our younger days at home playing one on one. We are both competitive, so we wanted to play well and win. It was a great feeling indeed," dason pa ni Andre.

Susama sab ang sentimento ni Anton.

"To be honest, I feel grateful and blessed playing against each other. Just like old times at home playing as kids to playing in a bigger stage. Couldn't be more grateful," paambit pa sa maguwang nga Chua. "Actually at home we enjoy talking about life or daily activities and by being competitive on the playing court, that way by playing our 100% means that we respect each other."

Karon nga nahuman na ang season ug natuldokan na ang ilang panagkaribal, ang mga Chuas mapasalmaton sa SHAABAA sa paglig-on sa ilang pinagsamahan isip managsoon.

"Our bond actually goes deeper. We are like best friends outside the court. In life, most importantly, I know we can always count on each other no matter what. On the flip side, we are highly competitive when we play against each other, so we treat each other like true rivals fighting to win," dason pa ni Andre. "We're very thankful to SHAABAA for giving us the opportunity to share the court to compete against each other. It was truly a great experience."
