29th Defense and Sporting Arms Show sa Mayo 25-29
Hitik na programa ang inihanda para sa 29th Defense and Sporting Arms sa Mayo 25-29 sa mas malaking venue na SMX Convention Center sa Pasay City.
Tiniyak ni Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers Inc. (AFAD) head Alaric Topacio na all-out ang partisipasyon ng mga exhibitors at members para sa patuloy na pagtataguyod sa responsableng pagmamay-ari ng baril.
Pamumunuan ni Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa ang mga matataas na opisyales mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines at Executive Department bilang panauhin sa opening ceremony na itinakda sa alas-10 ng umaga.
Bukod sa karaniwang aktibidad sa pagre-renew ng mga lisensya at aplikasyon para sa mga bagong rehistradong may-ari ng baril sa ilalim ng mahigpit na koordinasyon sa PNP, ang mga kalahok ay may pagkakataong dumalo sa mga seminar tungkol sa kaligtasan ng baril, seguridad, at responsableng pagmamay-ari ng baril.
“Education and the promotion of responsible gun ownership is one of the main goals of AFAD. We must continue to promote responsible gun ownership as animosity towards firearms has always been there,” ani Topacio.

“With the continuous growth of the defense industry, we made the decision to move to a bigger and better venue that is the SMX Convention Center, to accommodate our growing list of exhibitors,” sabi ni Topacio.
“So, expect a grandiose display of sporting firearms from both local and international manufacturers and companies,” dagdag ng AFAD chief.
