MVPSF may bonus din sa Paralympic medalists
MANILA, Philippines — Bukod sa 19 atletang sumasabak sa Tokyo Olympic Games ay mabibigyan din ng cash incentives ang anim na pambatong lalahok sa Paralympics.
Ito ang inihayag kahapon ng MVP Sports Foundation (MVPSF) sa pamumuno nina chairman Manny V. Pangilinan at president Al S. Panlilio.
Magbibigay ang MVPSF ng P5 milyon para sa atletang makakakuha sa Paralympic gold medal habang P2.5 milyon at P500,000 naman para sa silver at bronze, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
Katumbas ito ng ibibigay ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa mga Paralympics medalists.
“This is part of the commitment of Chairman MVP and his advocacy of Sports for All,” ani Panlilio. “MVPSF supports that commitment and is one with him in the belief that Paralympians deserve recognition and reward for their sacrifice and dedication to flag and country.”
Nakatakda ang Tokyo Paralympics sa Agosto 24 hanggang Setyembre 5.
