PBA Press Corps Awards Night ipinagpaliban

MANILA, Philippines — Nagdesisyon ang PBA Press Corps na ipagpaliban ang pagdaraos ng 2019 Awards Night matapos magdeklara si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng ‘community quarantine’ sa buong Metro Manila dahil sa banta ng coronavirus disease.

Naunang itinakda ang event sa Lunes sa Novotel Manila sa Araneta City.

Ang nasabing desisyon ng PBAPC ay para sa kaligtasan ng mga awardees, guests at mga miyembro ng working press.

Nasa kanilang ika-26 taon at inihahatid ng TV, ang pagpangalan sa tatanggap ng Virgilio ‘Baby’ Dalupan Coach of the Year award ang paglalabanan nina Leo Austria ng San Miguel at Tim Cone ng Barangay Ginebra.

Inihayag ng PBAPC ang first batch ng mga awardees na kinabibilangan nina six-time MVP winner June Mar Fajardo (Order of Merit) ng San Miguel, CJ Perez (Sco-ring champion) ng Columbian, D-League Finals MVPs (Thirdy Ravena at Hesed Gabo), All-Interview Team (Kiefer Ravena, Christian Standhardinger, Vic Manuel, Arwind Santos, Beau Belga, at coach Yeng Guiao), All-Rookie Team (Perez, Robert Bolick, Javee Mocon, Bobby Ray Parks, and Abu Tratter) at ang Game of the Season (NLEX vs. NorthPort).
