Molino Altas dale ang back-to-back crown
MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng University of Perpetual Help Molino Altas ang ikalawang sunod na titulo sa Inter School Volleyball League (ISVL) Season 16 na ginanap sa Altas gymnasium ng UPHSD Molino Campus.
Nagwagi ang Molino Altas ni coach Eldee Zapanta kontra sa Cavite State University, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12, sa kanilang finals showdown upang itakas ang back-to-back championship.
Sa iba pang laro, nakopo naman ng Perpetual Molino Junior Altas ang Junior’s division crown matapos padapain ang Seven Seas Academy ng Mambog, Bacoor City via straight sets victory, 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.
Bumida si Christopher Ilano bilang Most Valuable Player (MVP) ng Senior’s Division, habang si Jouph Amamag-id naman ang top player sa Junior”s Division.
Naungusan din ng Molino Lady Altas ang Cavite State University-Cavite City campus women’s volleyball team sa five sets, 25-16, 25-19, 15-25, 23-25, 15-12, upang itala ang ikalawang sunod na kampeonato.
Matapos sa finals match ay inangkin naman ni Charlotte Airah Totañes ang season MVP sa women’s competition.
“I am really proud of my coaches and players, these are the proof that the volleyball program here in Perpetual is strong. Congratulations to all of you,” sabi ni multi-titled head coach Sinfronio ‘Sammy’ Acaylar.
