Valdez nais mapasama ang NCC sa 30th SEAG
MANILA, Philippines — Hangad ng National Cheerleading Championship na isama ang sports na ito sa darating na 30th Southeast Asian Games na gaganapin dito sa Pilipinas sa susunod na taon.
Sinabi ni NCC founder Carlos Valdez na malaki ang tsansa ng Pilipinas na madomina ang nasabing sports event kung isasali sa SEA Games.
“It requires courage over anxiety; resolve over doubt, discipline over comfort. You really have to be fearless,” sabi ni Valdes.
Mahigit 300 teams ang sasabak sa 14th season ng NCAA na uumpisahan sa pagdaraos sa Southern Luzon leg ngayon Oktubre 6 sa Robinson’s Mall sa Las Piñas City.
Ang magwawagi sa national kumpetisyon ay siyang kakatawan sa bansa sa Asia at Oceania at sa World Championship sa Orlando, Florida sa susunod na taon.
“I can say that in cheerleading we have the potential of winning medal not just in the Asian level, but probably in the world level and hopefully the Olympics. If we’re going to include cheerleading in the SEA Games, I can say that there is a great chance for us to win the gold medal,” ayon naman kay ABC 5 president Chot Reyes.
