Lyceum o CEU?
MANILA, Philippines — Pag-aagawan ng Centro Escolar University at Zark’s Burger-Lyceum ang huling semifinal berth sa kanilang do-or-die battle ngayon sa 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup sa Ynares Sports Arena sa Pasig City.
Naipursige ng sixth seed Zark’s Burger-Lyceum ang rubber match matapos magwagi laban sa Scorpions sa unang laro ng quarterfinal round kung saan tangan ng CEU ang twice-to-beat bentahe bilang third seed sa pagtatapos ng elimination round.
Matapos magwagi sa unang laro, 104-95, mataas na ngayon ang tiwala ng Zark’s Jawbreakers ni coach Topex Robinson na makukuha ang huling semis berth.
“No pressure on our end. We are just trying to give a good fight. At the end of the day, we want to show the effort and be true to ourselves. That’s what is important for us,” ani Robinson.
Ang mananalo sa CEU at Zark’s Burger ay haharap sa Marinerong Pilipino Skippers sa best-of-three semifinal round.
Sa ibang semis match, magtatagpo naman ang top seed Akari-Adamson Falcons at ang Che’Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian.
Para naman kay CEU coach Yong Garcia, sinayang nila ang twice-to-beat bentahe at kailangan nilang manalo na ngayon para pumasok sa semis.
