Muslim-Christian Friendship chessfest karong weekend

CEBU, Philippines – Ang Association of Cebu Muslim Professionals and Entrepreneurs inabagan sa Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association mopahigayon sa labing unang chess event karong tuiga nga ulohan og “1st Cebu Muslim-Christian Friendship Open Tournament” karong Enero 9-10 diha sa Colonnade Mall sa may dalan Colon, dakbayan sa Sugbo.

“Sinulog is forthcoming, and we think of something we can contribute to the city and the people of Cebu that is why we are coming up with this chess event,” matud pa ni ACMEP President Datu Abubacar G. Gunang.

“We  endeavor to foster unity and camaraderie among our Cebuano brothers and this is one way to show that Muslims and Christians in Cebu really have a good relationship with each other”, dugang pa ni Gunang.

Kapin sa P20,000 nga ganting salapi ang iapud-apod sa mga mananaog sa maong duha ka adlaw nga hinashasay sa utok nga magsubay og 7-round Swiss system format.

Ang makampiyon modawat og P8,000, samtang ang motapos sa ikaduha hangtod sa ikaupat nga puwesto mobulsa og P4,000, P2,000 ug P1,000.

Ang fifth ngadto sa 10th placers dunay consolation prize nga P250.

Ang top 3 Muslim players makadawat og P500 matag usa, samtang ang top 3 kiddies ug ladies  gantihan og P1,000, P600 ug P400.

Ang rehistrasyon nagkantidad og P100 sa ladies ug kiddies ug P250 sa regular entries.
