Warriors nagbalik na sa ensayo

OAKLAND, California — Ang pinakamaikling offseason sa Golden State Warriors history ay napuno ng mga talk show appea­rances, golf outings kasama ang President, award shows at worldwide travel.

Halos tatlong buwan ma­tapos makamit ang una nilang NBA championship makaraan ang 40 taon, nag­balik sa pag-eensayo ang Warriors.

Halos lahat ng mahaha­lagang player ay muling nag­balik para sa darating na season at buong taon na nagamay ang sistema ni coach Steve Kerr', na­ni­niwala ang Warriors na makakamit nilang ang ikalawang sunod na NBA crown.

Ngunit hindi ito magi­ging madali.

“We can't think we're going to be the same team and show up and win 67 games and win a cham­pionship,” sabi ni MVP point guard Stephen Curry. “t's not going to be easy. For us, it's about doing what we do well and doing it better.”

Naging abala si Curry ma­tapos ang kanilang pagkakampeon.

Nilibot niya ang China, pi­nalawig ang bago niyang sponsorship deal sa Under Armour, dumalo sa Kid's Choice at ESPY award shows at naging bisita sa mga talk shows kagaya ng "The Late Show with Ste­phen Colbert."

Nagkaroon din siya ng isang special golf date sa Mar­tha's Vineyard kasama si US President Barack Oba­ma.

Ngayon ay balik-ensa­yo na ang Golden State ma­tapos talunin si LeBron James at ang Cleveland Ca­valiers, 4-2, sa nakaraang NBA Finals.
