Elesterio, Mojdeh nagbida sa 81st PSL National Series
MANILA, Philippines – Binanderahan ni Bernice Arabella Elesterio, isang record-breaker, ang listahan ng mga Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa 81st Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - Davao Swim Meet na idinaos sa Tagum City Sports Complex.
Isinumite ni Elesterio ang bilis na isang minuto at 21.13 segundo para kunin ang gintong medalya sa girls’ 13-14 100-meter breaststroke.
Binura ni Elesterio ang dating oras na 1:23.31 ni Portia Kate Doragos.
Humakot si Elesterio ng 50 points para angkinin ang MOS trophy sa kaniyang dibisyon.
Nagtala naman si Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng 56 points para mamuno sa girls’ 9-10 years kagaya nina Heather White (girls’ 7-8 years), Yuan Gabriel Taojo (boys’ 7-8 years) at Danielle Mabalod (girls 6-under).
Hinirang namang overall champion ang Tagum Green Dolphins kasunod ang Phil. Swim League swimmers at ang Barracuda swim team.
“The event is the beginning of grassroots development program of PSL for Mindanao region. We see a lot of potential swimmers and they are looking forward to more challenging international competitions. They are motivated and geared up,” pahayag ni PSL president Susan Papa sa idinaos nilang Davao Swim Meet.
Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Eryk John Omandan (boys’ 9-10), Zhakira Eybriel Idulsa (girls’ 11-12), John Marion Albano (boys’ 11-12), Josiah Paul Ozano (boys’ 13-14), Bea Chyll Amparo (girls’ 15-16), Christian Paul Anor (boys’ 15-16), Mae Pajarito (girs’ 17-over) at Kierl Suazo (boys’ 17-over).
Nagkuwalipika naman para sa 2015 Singapore Midget Swimming Championship sa Setyembre sina Christian Tan, Rudolf John Rasay, Asha Segotier at Michael Davis Samaniego at Mojdeh.
