PTA, Viva nagsanib puwersa sa TV coverage ng Taekwondo
MANILA, Philippines – Ang mga taekwondo events ay magiging regular na mapapanood sa telebisyon matapos ang contract signing sa pagitan ng Philippine Taekwondo Association at ng Viva Communications Inc.
Lumagda sina Vic del Rosario, ang CEO/President ng Viva Communications Inc. at dating taekwondo superstar na si Manuel Monsour del Rosario, ang PTA secretary general, ng kontrata para sa television coverage ng mga PTA events via PTA-YouTube at Sports Channel.
Ang Philippine Taekwondo Association ay miyembro ng Philippine Olympic Committee at ng World Taekwondo Federation at kinikilala ng Philippine Sports Commission. Ang taekwondo ay isa sa mga pinakapopular na sports activities sa bansa.
Ito ang pinagkukunan ng mga medalya ng bansa sa mga international competitions kagaya ng Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, Asian at World Championships at World University Games.
