SMART national inter-school sisipa sa Sept. 20-21
MANILA, Philippines - Magkikita-kitang muli ang mga taekwondo jins sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium sa Sabado at Linggo para sa SMART National Inter-School (free sparring) at PLDT Home-Bro (poomsae) championship.
Nasa 2,000 novice at advance male at female jins ang inaasahang sasali sa senior, junior, cadet at grade school divisions.
Sinabi ni organizing committee chairman Sung Chon Hong na ang nasabing kambal na torneo ay magbibigay-daan para sa mga datihan at baguhang manlalaro na maipakita ang kanilang mga angking husay sa taekwondo.
Kabilang sa mga maglalaro sa naturang torneo ay ang De La Salle University (Taft, Zobel, Lipa at Dasmariñas), College of Saint Benilde, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, Ateneo de Manila University, Far Eastern University, University of the East, San Beda College (Alabang, Mendiola at Taytay), Letran College, Don Bosco School (Makati at Mandaluyong), St. Theresa’s College, Lourdes School (Mandaluyong at Quezon City), OBMC, University of Batangas, Diliman Preparatory School, School of St. Anthony, St. Vincent School, UPIS at Rizal High School.
Ang mga aksyon sa torneo ay magsisimula sa alas-9 ng umaga at ito ay suportado ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Smart Communications, MVP Sports Foundation, PLDT, Meralco, TV5 at MILO.
