Mga pari magtigi sa basketbol

CEBU, Philippines - Mga  kaparian gikan sa pito ka clergy teams ang mopakita sa ilang abilidad sa pagahimuong inter-congregation basketball tournament nga uloha'g "2nd Spring Rain Missions Cup."

Ang upat ka adlaw nga torneyo gisugdan na niadtong Lunes diha sa University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Basak campus gymnasium.

Lahi  sa unang edisyon nga gisalmotan lang sa  Cebu, duha ka out-of-town clergy teams  gikan sa diocese sa Dumaguete ug Alaminos sa Pangasinan ang mosalmot ning higayona.

Ang ubang koponan naglakip sa Order of St. Augustine, Order of Augustinian Recollect, Diocese of Cebu All-Stars, Diocese of Cebu Selection ug Order of Augustinian Discalced.

Ang inter-clergy tournament  usa ka fund-raising event alang sa Kusina ni Santa Maria usa ka feeding program alang sa mga kabus sa Sugbu. Laing mga beneficiaries mao ang mga kabus nga tinun-an ilabi na ang mga seminarista.

"We have come from Luzon to participate in this special cup because we want to play for friendship and also for advocacies. We would like to really gain supporters for our work for the less privileged students especially for the seminarians," matud pa ni Monsignor Rey Ragudos, head of Diocese of Alaminos.

"There are many of them (students) who dreamed to be priests but some of them came from poor families and we would like to help them."

Ang mga tiket  nagkantidad  og P10 ug mapalit didto sa binyu. Ang upat ka adlaw nga kalihukan gipasiugdahan sa  Spring Rain Global Consultancy Inc. uban sa suporta sa Archdiocese of Cebu.  (BANAT NEWS)
