Gumanda na ang kondisyon ni George

INDIANAPOLIS -- Sinabi ni Pacers coach Frank Vogel na maganda na ang pakiramdam ni Paul George matapos ang banggaan nila ni Dwyane Wade ng Miami Heat sa Game Two ng Eastern Conference Finals.

Ngunit hindi lamang tiyak kung handa na siyang maglaro sa Game Three sa Sabado.

Nakasuot ng red jersey, nalimita ang two-time All-Star sa non-contact drills sa kanilang team practice.

Nagkabanggaan sina George at Wade sa gitna ng fourth quarter sa Game 2 na inangkin ng Miami, 87-83.

Matapos ang laro ay sinabi ni George sa mga repor­ters na nagdilim at lumabo ang kanyang paningin nang tamaan ang kanyang ulo ng tuhod ni Wade.

‘’There is a minimal contact requirement that he’s got to do and be tested afterward,’’ sabi ni Vogel  tungkol sa patakaran ng NBA sa medical clearance.

Sumama si George sa shooting drills at nagsalpak ng dunk bago lisanin ang court.

Hindi siya nakipag-usap sa mga reporters matapos ang kanilang ensayo.

Ninilaw ni Vogel na light work lamang ang ginawa ni George at hindi tiniyak kung maglalaro ang kanilang  top scorer sa Game 3.

‘’We are preparing for both (possibilities),’’ ani Vogel. ‘’I think we have guys that can fill in, certainly not play at Paul’s level. But we would have to adjust the end result at the time, and I’m sure we will be able to do that.’’
