Watanabe hataga'g pasidungog sa iyang pagdaog og gold medal

CEBU, Philippines - Gipasidunggan sa Cebu Provincial Board pinaagi sa usa ka resolusyon ang Cebuana-Japanese judo gold medalist sa  27th Southeast Asian Games didto sa Myanmar.

Pinaagi sa Resolution No. 06-2014 nga gi-sponsoran ni Provincial Board Member Thadeo Ouano, si Kiyumi Watanabe, gold

medalist sa judo women’s 63 kg division, hatagan og P25,000 bugti sa iyang kadaugan. Ang salapi adto kuhaon sa Legislative Assistance

Fund ni Ouano ngadto sa barangay Labogon sa dakbayan sa Mandaue.

Sa napasar na nga resolusyon, ang P25,000 isip financial assistance ni Watanabe, maghatag kini og inspirasyon sa uban aron

maninguha nga mag-una gayod sa ilang napiling sports aron kini makaangkon og pasidungog isip usa sa mga ngilngig sa Cebu o Cebu’s

best.

Si Watanabe, 17-anyos  nakasakmit usab og bronze medal atol sa  26th SEA Games nga gipahigayon sa Jakarta, Indonesia.

Naka-bronze usab siya sa 2013  Asian Youth Games diin nakaangkon siya og pasaporte nga moduwa sa World Youth Olympic Games

karong tuiga didto sa China.

Si Watanabe nagdaku sa sitio Sta. Cruz sa Labogon, Mandaue City diin didto sab siya  nagtungha sa Labogon Elementary

School sa wala pa mobalhin ang ilang pamilya didto sa Japan.

"At this very young age, she has brought honor and prestige to the country more particularly in Cebu when she joined the

Philippine Team to compete for the Women’s Judo in the 2011 and 2013 SEA Games under the guidance and support of her talent scout,

the executive vice president of the Philippine Judo Federation, Atty. Vicente E. Fernandez II," sumala pa sa resolusyon.

Sa mao usab nga resolusyon, ang gugma ug dedikasyon ni Kiyumi sa judo dili malalis pinaagi sa pagrepresentar niya sa

Pilipinas. Nagpasabot  nga wala niya kalimti ang iyang gigikanan.

"It is proper and fitting that we should give commendation for her great achievement and support her dreams and future

endeavors in judo competitions and at the same time thank her for giving Cebu Province a chance to celebrate and be proud," matud pa sa
