Bigating jins sasabak sa Smart MVP Best of the Best
MANILA, Philippines - Mga batikang blackbelt gold medalists mula sa 12 rehiyon ang sasali sa 2013 Smart MVP Best of the Best Taekwondo Championships sa Linggo sa San Miguel by the Bay, Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia.
“It’s going to be an exciting battle as only gold winners in the blackblet levels of national events are qualified to participate,†wika ni Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) CEO Song Chon Hong.
Si Jesus Morales III ang siyang itinalaga bilang tournament director at ang mga makakasama ay ang kampeon sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao championships bukod sa UAAP, NCAA, AFP-PNP Olympics at PTA events sa Metro Manila at sa ibang rehiyon.
Inaasahang magbabakbakan para sa paÂngunguna ng torneo ang mga manlalaro mula TaekÂwondo Blackbelt Brotherhood (TBB), Taekwondo Blackbelt Sorority (TBS) at Philippine Taekwondo Contingent (PTC).
Ang torneong ito ay suÂportado ng SMART Communications Inc., MVP Sports Foundation, PLDT, TV5 at Meralco.
Sa ganap na ika-8 ng umaga sisimulan ang labanan at ito ay gagamitan ng PSS (Protective Scoring System), at ESS (Electronic Scoring System), electronic armors at socks kasama ang IVR (Instant Video Replay) para maiwasan ang human error sa judging.
