PSC ‘di makikisawsaw sa nagaganap na gulo sa PVF

MANILA, Philippines - Hindi makikialam ang Philipine Sports Commission kaugnay sa nangya­yaring gulo sa loob ng Phi­lippine Volleyball Fe­de­ration (PVF).

Sinabi kahapon ni PSC chairman Richie Garcia na patuloy nilang kikilalanin si Gener Dungo bilang pa­ngulo ng PVF mula na rin sa rekognisyon ng Philippine Olympic Committee sa kabila ng reklamo nina PVF board member Dr. Adrian Laurel at secretary-general Vangie de Jesus.

Sinuspinde ni Dungo sina Laurel at De Jesus dahil sa pagbuo ng national team committee na magsasagawa ng tryouts para sa national women’s squad na ilalaban sa Myanmar Southeast Asian Games sa Disyembre.

“They can form a team but it will never be a national team. Only the president of the NSA (National Sports Association) or the signature of the POC (Philippine Olympic Committee) can give them the recognition,” ani Garcia.

“They can have a selection of UAAP or NCAA players, magpa-tryout sila. Nobody can stop them. But will they ever be a national team without the POC’s endorsement or without the NSA president endor­sing it,” dagdag pa ng PSC chief.

Sinabi nina Laurel at De Jesus na mayroon na silang ginagawang paraan para mapatalsik si Dungo sa PVF.

Sumulat na sina Laurel at De Jesus sa POC noong Lunes para idulog ang kanilang suspensyon sa PVF.
