MANILA, Philippines - Ang matagumpay na pagdaraos ng Summit Run for Pinoy Glory sa The Fort sa Bonifacio Global City no­ong nakaraang linggo ay patunay na marami ang nais na tumulong para sa mga atletang lalaro sa 2012 London Olympics.

We have always believed in inspiring the burning passions of our national athletes which is why we have been supporting them throughout these years by providing their hydration requirements and in other ways we can,” ani Angelie Ong na brand manager ng Summit Natural Drinking Water na ang kumpanya ang tumayong sponsor.

Ang beneficiaries ng patakbo ay ang Philippine Olympians Association at ng Philippine Sports Association for the Differently-Abled (Philspada) at ang perang malilikom ay gagamitin ng mga abled at differently-ables athletes na lalaro sa London Olympics at Paralympics.

Suportado rin ng British Embassy, British Chamber of Commerce at UK Trade and Investment, ang nanalo sa 21-K ay sina Romeo Marquez at Michelle Gilbueno.

Naorasan si Marquez ng Philippine Army ng 1:19:59 habang si Gilbueno ay may 1:32:40 tiyempo.

Sina Lee McMeekin (34:45) at Maricel Maquilan (40:36) ang nanalo sa 10k habang sina Jujet De Asis (16:16) at Michelle De Vera (20:05) ang kampeon sa 5K.

Nagwagi sina Ina­ty Nue­­vas (11:28) at Michael Bacong (8:26) sa 3K habang sina Gerald Amoranto (46:48) at Jerico Pena ang nagkampeon sa mga side events na 10K executive at 3k wheelchair mixed class.
