“I’m building this team around defense. We already know that most PBA players can score, so what I’m trying to build this team on is defense,” wika ni Parks kahapon sa lingguhang PSA sports forum sa Shakey’s sa U.N. Avenue, Manila.
Hinugot ng Beermen sina ex-pros Norman Gonzales, Jun-Jun Cabatu, RJ Rizada, Eric Rodriguez, Kevin Dela Peña, Marlon Basco, Froilan Baguion, Neil Raneses at Chris Luanzon bukod pa kina collegiate stars Allan Mangahas ng Mapua Cardinals at Jan Colina ng Adamson Falcons.
Ipaparada rin ng Beermen ni Parks sina 6-foot-10 JunMar Fajardo ng University of Cebu, at 6’1 Fil-Italian guard Chris Banchero.
“I’ve got a mixture of veteran and young players. But right now we’re trying to develop the team chemistry. It’s very hard to say how far we can go,” wika ni Parks, ang anak na si Ray Ray Parks, Jr. ay naglalaro sa National University Bulldogs sa UAAP.
Lucia noong 2005, at Dawron Johnson.
