Simula na ng aksyon ngayon sa 11th NAASCU cagefest
MANILA, Philippines - Apat na laro ang itatampok sa pagbubukas ng 11th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) ngayon sa Makati Coliseum.
Magsasagupa ang defending champion University of Manila at dating kampoeong STI Colleges sa alas-11 ng umaga.
Sina Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive director Sonny Barrios at Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) commissioner Atty. Chito Salud ang mamumuno sa opening ceremony na nakatakda sa alas-9 ng umaga.
Makakasama nina Barrios at Salud sina NAASCU president Dr. Ernesto Jay Adalem ng host St. Clare College-Caloocan at NAASCU senior adviser Atty. Ernesto de los Santos ng UM.
“We’re excited to enter our second decade as the country’s biggest collegiate league. We encountered some problems in the past 10 years of the league but we have weathered the storm and ready to face the new decade with renewed enthusiasm,” wika ni Adalem, treasurer rin ng SBP.
Tampok rin ang sagupaan ng CUP at New Era sa alas-12:30 ng tanghali, CEU kontra Fatima sa alas-2 ng hapon at AMA vs Informatics sa huling laro sa alas-3:30.
