PSC tiniyak ang tagumpay ng 2011 PNG

MANILA, Philippines- Bagamat may nararanasang pag-ulan sa ilang bahagi ng bansa, tiniyak ng Philippine Sports Commission ang matagumpay na pagdaraos ng Negros Occidental sa 2011 Philippine National Games (PNG).

Ito ang sinabi ni PSC chairman Richie Garcia sa naturang sports event na magiging basehan sa pagpili ng mga atletang ibibilang sa national pool.

Nakatakda ang 2011 PNG sa Mayo 23-29 kung saan ikakalat ang mga sports events sa Bacolod City, Bago City, Talisay City at Silay City.

Ang 2011 PNG ay bukas sa lahat ng Filipino athletes at magdedetermina kung sino ang makukuna para maging miyembro ng national team na maaaring ilahok sa Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games at Olympic Games.

 Idaraos sa Bacolod City ang 5K at 10K marathon, athletics, badminton, beach volleyball, billiards, equestrian, fencing, gymnastics, judo, karatedo, lawn tennis, motorcycle sports, sailing, soft tennis, swimming, taekwondo, volleyball, wall climbing, weightlifting, wind surfing at wrestling.

Nasa Bago City ang canoe kayak, dragon boat, muay thai at wushu, habang ang baseball, road cycling, futsal, football, penkak silat, softball at table tennisay gagawin sa Talisay.

Ang Silay City ang ma­nga­ngasiwa naman sa archery, arnis, sepak takraw at triathlon.
