PSC lumapit sa PAGCOR para sa pondo ng PFF

MANILA, Philippines - Para matiyak ang ta­gum­pay ng pamamahala ng Philippine Football Fe­de­ration (PFF) sa AFC Chal­­lenge Cup sa Pebrero 9 sa Panaad Sports Com­­plex sa Bacolod City ay lumapit ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAG­COR) kamakalawa.

“We recieved an estimate as to how much it will cost to host this event. and it is in the tune of almost P6 million,” ani PSC chairman Richie Garcia sa hinihingi ng PFF sa kanila.

Ang PAGCOR, ayon kay Garcia, ang siyang ma­­kakatulong sa kanila ukol sa laban ng Azkals sa Mon­­golia sa Challenge Cup.

“The other day, bumisita ka­mi sa PAGCOR kay di­rector George Sarmiento kung ano naman ang mai­tu­­tulong ng PAGCOR dito, kasi sa Philippine Sports Com­mi­s­sion wala ka­ming budget for this kind of event at hin­di ito naisama sa budget na­min,” sabi ni Garcia.

Samantala, sinabi ni Gar­cia na hindi sila maglalabas ng pondo para sa mga Nationals Sports Associations (NSA)s hanggat wa­lang naisusumite sa kanilang budget proposal para sa taong ito.

“For as long as they don’t give us their budget pro­posal, they will not get any funding from the PSC,” wi­ka ni Garcia sa mga NSAs.
