PFF magdaraos ng 'Diski Night' para suportahan ang Fifa World Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Isang mala-piyestang Diski Night ang itinakda ng Philippine Football Federation (PFF) sa Disyembre 8 bilang suporta sa bigating 2010 Fifa World Cup.

Ang nasabing okasyon, ayon kay PFF secretary-general Cyrill Dofitas, ay gaganapin sa 1 ESPLANADE sa SM Mall of Asia.

"Basically, we’re holding the Diski Night as a football awareness event culminating into the 2010 Fifa World Cup, which we all know, offers the highest-form of football competition in the world," wika ni Dofitas.

Nakasama ni Dofitas sa PSA sports forum kahapon sina dating RP team head coach at ngayon ay PFF technical director Aris Caslib at Candice Grey, ang co-founder at head coach ng Futbol Funatics Soccer Camp for Kids.

Kabilang sa mga aktibidades, ayon kay Grey, ay isang football clinic para sa mga mahihirap na kabataan, isang art at football memorabilia auction, isang AVP (audio-video presentation) ng 2010 World Cup at isang dinner cocktail.

Maglalagay rin ng ilang booths na siyang ihahanay para sa mga kinatawan ng 32 bansang nakapasok sa 2010 World Cup.

Inaasahang dadaluhan nina PFF president Jose Mari Martinez at South African Ambassador to the Philippines Pieter Andries Vermeulin ang Diski Night.    (Russell Cadayona)
