Aussies pwedeng import sa PBA

-

“We had dinner with the Commissioner (Barrios) last night and he told us that as an incentive, he is allowing some of the Australian players to come to the PBA and play for the teams,” ani Albert Selorio, team manager ng Australian selection.

“It depends on the players whether they want to play here because they will go back to their mother teams back home after the series with the RP team is over,” dagdag ni Selorio sa mga miyembro ng White Sharks.

“Basketball in Australia is not that popular compared to the Philippines so I would consider coming here, depending on the opportunity,” wika ni ni 6-foot-3 Vergel Alcantara, miyembro ng White Sharks. “If the opportunity is good and everything comes into place, then I would consider coming here.”

Si Alcantara, tubong San Pablo, Laguna, ay nagtapos sa Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE sa kursong Information Technology at Network Engineering. (Russell Cadayona)
