Pacquiao, Dela Hoya nagbangayan na

-

“Some people are criticizing Oscar for picking on a small guy like me. Some people say I’m picking this fight for the money,” wika ni Pacquiao, ang world four-division titlist. “I’m going to prove everyone wrong.”

Nakatakda ang non-title welterweight fight nina Pacquiao at Dela Hoya sa MGM Grand Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

“I have to prove to myself that I can still do this,” sabi naman ni Dela Hoya. “Yes, I’m 35. Everyone says that’s over the hill for boxing. But I’m still young, I didn’t get beat up. So I still want to do this.”

“I learned a lot during that nine-week period that I trained Dela Hoya and now I’m going to use it against him,” ani Roach, gumabay sa training ni Dela Hoya nang matalo kay Floyd Mayweather, Jr. via split decision noong Mayo ng 2007 para sa world light welterweight crown. “Can he still pull the trigger? We’ll see.”

(Russell Cadayona)
