Giluwas ni Joaquin Fernandez ang adlaw sa Team Cebu City human kini midaog og silver sa 2008 Philippine National Judo Championships for Kids sa miaging adlaw didto sa kaulohan.

Nasakmit ni Joaquin ang silver sa -55 kilograms class. Napilde siya ngadto sa iyang nabiktima kaniadto nga si Roland Llamas sa final.

Gipukan ni Joaquin ni Llamas sa miaging Philippine Olympic Federation, apan ang naulahi ning higayona mas preparado ug iyang napukan ang misulbong nga judokas sa Sugbu.
