Cebu Dolphins idedepensa ang titulo sa Baseball Philippines Series 3

-

Nakatakdang idepensa ng Cebu Dolphins ang kanilang korona sa paghataw ng Series 3 ng Baseball Philippines sa Marso 30 sa Rizal Memorial Stadium.

“We’re a solid team but I believe the other teams are solid and strong too so I expect a more competitive tournament, we’ll see,” sabi kahapon ni coach Isaac Bacarisas ng Cebu, bumigo sa Manila Sharks sa finals ng nasabing torneo noong nakaraang taon.

Bukod sa Dolphins at Sharks, makikita rin sa aksyon sa torneong inorganisa nina Leslie Suntay at Chito Loyzaga ang Makati Mariners, Forward Taguig Patriots, Dumaguete Unibikers, Antipolo Pilgrims, Batangas Bulls at Nueva Ecija Huskies.

“We have many new innovations in Series 2 to make the games more competitive and exciting,” wika ni Suntay, tumatayong operations director ng Baseball Philippines.

“They’re going to watch the matches and see if we have some players here who have the potential to play in their leagues,” ani Loyzaga, ang marketing director.

Ang mga baseball players na muling aabangan ay sina 2007 Most Valuable Player Joseph Orillana ng Cebu, Ernesto Binarao ng Taguig, Charlie Labrador at Romeo Jasmin ng Manila at Jojo Robles ng Makati. (Russell Cadayona)
