NAKHON Ratchasima — Sumandal ang Team Philippines sa ginintuang performance ng polio victim duo kahapon upang manatiling nasa ikalimang puwesto sa 4th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Para Games dito sa  His Majesty the King’s 80th Anniversary Stadium.

Pinayukod ng 37-anyos na si Josephine Medina ang countryman na si Minnie de Ramos, 11-4, 11-5, 11-4, 11-4 sa race-to-four sets table tennis finals sa Surapat 3 sa Surananaree University of Technology campus upang itabla ang kanyang double gold medal output noong 2005 Manila Para Games.

Ang nasabing ginintuang performance ay dumating matapos na si Medina, ang 1987 National Open champion, ay nakipag-tambal sa iisa lang ang kamay at 33-anyos na si de Ramos at bumandera sa Open Class 6-10 section ng womne’s doubles.
