PBA commissioner sa Enero 10 ihahayag?

Umaasa si PBA board chairman Tony Chua na matatapos na at madede-sisyunan na kung sino ang susunod na PBA commissioner sa kanilang pulong sa Enero 10.

“My fervent New Year’s wish is that all of us in the PBA board be given good wisdom and select the best man that could help us bring the PBA to even greater heights,” ani Chua.

“I hope that the selection process be over by Jan. 10 so we can focus on delivering the best basketball for our fans,” dagdag ni Chua. “I’m apologizing to the PBA fans kung may-roon kaming pagkukulang and I wish them all the best this New Year.”

Nahahati ang board sa pagpili sa pagitan nina Atty. Chito Salud at Lambert Ramos bilang susunod na commissioner. At kaila-ngang maresolba ito sa pamamagitan ng 2/3 na boto para pangalanan ang papalit kay officer-in-charge Sonny Barrios.

Sinabi ni Barrios na kung hindi rin agad marere-solba bago ang Fiesta Cup, pansamantalang hahanap din muna sila ng kapalit na OIC.

“A family business that needs my attention is waiting for me. I can’t stay on as officer-in-charge beyond the Philippine Cup,” wika ni Barrios.
