”He’s very excited about it and bukas (nga-yon) ng umaga umpisa na ang trabaho niya and he will start preparing for the upcoming Rookie Draft and the 33rd season of the PBA,” sabi ni PBA chairman Ricky Vargas ng Talk ‘N Text kay Barrios.

”Iyong OIC, napagka-sunduan ng Board, na hindi na dapat maging kandidato sa pagiging Commissioner so that he can concentrate on being an OIC and Sonny accepted it on that basis,” ani Vargas.

Freddie Webb, dating PBA player Ed Cordero, RP women’s team coach Fritz Gaston at corporate man Lambert Ramos.

“Siguro it will take some time. Baka in two months time malalaman na natin ‘yan,” sabi ng outgoing PBA chairman. “The Board created a Nomination and a Search  Committee to take a look at the candidates. Talk to them, get their credentials, see if they match with the requirements and then present it to the board.”
