Ayon kay Filipino train-er Edito Villamor, marami nang natutunan sina Bau-tista at Banal mula sa panonood sa ensayo ni Dela Hoya.

Sina Bautista at Banal ay personal na inimbita-han ni Dela Hoya para sumabay sa kanyang ensayo sa Puerto Rico sa ilalim ni 2006 Trainer of the Year awardee Freddie Roach.
Nakatakdang itaya ni Dela Hoya ang kanyang suot na world junior middleweight crown laban kay challenger Floyd Mayweather, Jr. sa Mayo 5 sa MGM Grand Garden Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada kung saan kasa-ma sa undercard sina Bautista at Banal.
Sasagupain ni Bau-tista si Sergio "Rocky" Medina ng Argentina sa super bantamweight divi-sion, samantalang maka-kaharap naman ni Banal si Mexican Juan Alberto Rosas sa flyweight class.
Nakatakdang mag-tungo sina Bautista, Banal at Villamor sa Las Vegas sa Abril 29 para makilahok sa media promotion ng naturang Dela Hoya-Mayweather cham-pionship fight.
