Naga City kumpiyansa sa pag-angat

-

"Because we are playing in homeground, I’m sure that our athletes will perform better this year as compared to last year in Iloilo City where we finished number five," sabi ni Naga City Mayor Jessie Robredo. "If we are number five or number six in last year’s Palarong Pam-bansa in Iloilo City, we will promise to give our best to be number four or number three this time."

"The PSC are very sincerely happy to give the Palarong Pambansa back to where it should belong," sabi ni PSC chairman William "Butch" Ramirez. "To our mind, wala pa yatang maipapalit sa Palaro as a genuine sports development program."

Maliban sa Metro Naga Sports Complex, ang iba pang venues na pagdarausan ng mga sports events ng 2006 Palarong Pambansa ay ang Ateneo de Naga University Main Campus, ang Ateneo de Naga Pacol Campus, ang Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, ang Naga City Civic Center, ang Hope Christian University at ang University of Nueva Caceres.
