176-SEAG gold medalists pa-Hong Kong ngayon

Pihadong masaya ang biyahe ng mga gold me-dalists ng nakaraang 23rd Southeast Asian Games sa Hong Kong Disney-land.

 Ayon kay First Gentle-man Atty. Mike Arroyo, pababaunan niya ng tig-$300 ang bawat atleta para sa kanilang three-day trip sa Hong Kong.

 Inaasahan ring maka-kasama ng halos 176 gold medal winners ng 2005 SEA Games ang kani-kanilang mga ‘Godfathers’ na kinausap na ni Atty. Arroyo sa hangaring mu-ling makakuha ng suporta para sa preparasyon ng mga atleta sa Qatar Asian Games sa Doha.

 "Since I’m inviting the athletes, I invited also the Godfathers so that they can also give their athletes some pocket money," wika ni Atty. Arroyo.

 Nakatakdang mag-tungo ang delegasyon sa Hong Kong ngayon na hinati sa tatlong grupo.

 Sinabi pa ni Atty. Arro-yo na muli niyang kukum-binsihin ang naturang mga negosyanteng na-ging ‘Godfathers’ ng mga national athletes upang tumulong sa paghahanda para sa Qatar Asiad.

 Sa nakaraang 2005 SEA Games, humakot ang Team Philippines ng kabuuang 113 gold, 86 silver at 92 bronze medals para kilalanin na over-all champion.(R.Cadayona)
