Tagumpay ni Pacquiao ipagdasal natin - Bong

Nakisalo na rin si K-4 Senatorial bet Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr., kahapon sa buong bansa na nagdarasal para sa ikatatagumpay ni Ring Magazine at People’s featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao na sasabak sa Word Boxing Association/International Boxing Federation featherweight titlist Juan Manuel Marquez sa Linggo.

Ayon kay Revilla, na dating Governor ng Cavite, naging haligi rin ng grassroots sports program sa kanyang probinsiya partikular na sa boxing nang i-host niya ang ilang amateur boxing events sa Cavite Coliseum noong kapanahunan ng kanyang administrasyon, na aakyat si Pacquiao sa ibabaw ng ring na taglay ang dasal ng sambayanang Filipino.

"Manny Pacquiao is a modern-day hero, who deserves all our wishes of good luck and God speed," pahayag ni Revilla, na nananatiling No. 1 sa mga surveys para sa senador.

"On the eve of the national elections, let us all pause for a while and support Pacquiao in his pursuit of sporting execellence. I have no doubt in my mind that he will again put the Philippines in the international sporting map," dagdag pa ni Revilla, na dati ring chairman ng Videogram Regulatory Board.

"We need heroes of Pacquiao’s courage because he inspires not only us servants of the people, but the common tao as well, knowing how a regular, ordinary guy like him would become an Internationally-renowed boxing superstar in his own right," wika pa ni Revilla.
