Apat hanggang limang golds sa taekwondo sa Vietnam SEAG

Sinabi kahapon ni taekwondo association president Hong Sun Chun na posibleng makakuha ng apat hanggang limang gintong medalya ang mga taekwondo jins sa Southeast Asian Games sa Vietnam sa darating na Disyembre.
Ayon kay Hong, may potensiyal ang lahat ng 16 jins na kanilang ipadadala sa pangunguna nina Roberto Cruz, Donald Geisler, Eva Marie Ditan, Jasmin Strachan at Veronica Domingo.
Kumpiyansa si Hong na kanilang malalampasan ang kanilang performance sa nakaraang SEA Games sa Kuala Lumpur.
"All 16 athletes have the potential to win golds," pahayag ni Hong. "But it depends on the draw. If we get a good draw, well have a good chance to make it to the gold medal round," dagdag pa nito.
Ayon kay Hong malaki ang naitulong ng kanilang Korean coach na si Kim Tae Hyun. "He has helped us a lot since he came here last year." (Ulat ni Carmela V. Ochoa)
