Budget ng PSC ipagtatangol ni Legarda

-

"I know that these are trying times, that we need to initiate belt-tightening measures. But to slash ther budget of Philippine Sports this way is simply too much. With this budget, we might as treat our athletes like carabao, feed them with mush and grass, and hope that sheer patriotism will carry them victory," pagtatanggol ni Legarda.

"Sports does not only make a nation, but also reveals its character and if we insists on starving our athletes of support, we might as well throw in the towel and proclaim Philippine sports dead and buried," pagtatapos ni Legarda. (Ulat ni Rudy Andal)
