35 players ang nahugot sa PBL Rookie Draft

Umabot sa 35 manlalaro na pinangunahan ng 6’9 na si Samigue Eman at St. Francis College forward Nazir Kiram ang nahugot kahapon mula sa PBL Rookie Draft na ginanap sa PBL office sa Makati Coliseum.

Sina Eman, produkto ng University of Mindanao at Kiram ay kabilang sa isinumiteng pangalan ng bagong koponang John-O Juzz na kinatawan kahapon ni team manager Carlo Sario at coach Manny Dandan.

Ang iba pang cagers na napili ay sina FEU’s James Razon (Ateneo-Pioneer), Rhagnee Sinco (Montana), Reynaldo Mendoza (Ana Freezers), Lago Raterta (Blu Detergent), Fil-Am Lorenz Albano (ICTSI-La Salle), Cesar Catli (Kutitap Toothpaste) at 6’6 Al Fedeliso ng Collegio de San Lorenzo (Shark).

At sa regular pick, ipinagpalit ng Ateneo ang kanilang first round choice sa Kutitap kung saan kinuha naman nila sina Christian Luanzon at James Zablan ng UST sa first round, bago binunot rin nila sina Romer Diaz, Alejandro Quimson at Romualdo Intalan III ng Colegio de San Lorenzo bago nag-pass sa fifth round.

Pito naman ang kinuha ng Montana Pawnshop mula sa regular pick na kinabibilangan ng 5’10 Romnick Medoza ng Gregorio Araneta University Foundation sa first round, MLQU’s 6 1/2 guard Marphyl Limbo, 6’3 Danilo Conmigo, Jose Rizal University’s John Wyne Te, Jay Barral at ang magpinsan na sina Diovan at Charlie Braga.

Ang iba pang nakuha ay sina Roberto Giron, Theody Habelito, Welihado ‘Pet’ Duyag, Elbert Alberto, Jhembel Gican, Rudolf Ellinger, Francis Machica, Dominic Nadela, Roel Galura, Edward Peñaflorida, Michael Fermin, Jeffrey Franco, Fil-canadian Richard dela Peña at Edelito Saygo.
