Pinutol ni woman international Master Beverly Mendoza ang five-game winning streak ni Carmina Joy Mariano upang makisosyo sa pangunguna sa kanilang tig-limang puntos sa Girls U-20 category matapos ang round 6 ng 2001 National Age Group Chess Championships sa Mandaluyong City.
