Klec ng Germany umusad sa ITF-Philippines Men's Future 2nd round

Umusad sa second round ng $15,000 ITF-Philippine Men’s Futures si Ivo Klec ng Germany matapos itala ang 6-1, 6-3 tagumpay kontra sa first leg winner na si Zbynek Mlynarik kahapon sa Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

Si Klec, ranked number 635 sa daigdig, ay makakaharap naman si Nicholas McDonald ng South Africa na namayani naman kay Justin Layne ng Great Britain 7-5, 6-1.

"I beat him before but I cannot tell what will happen in our match tomorrow," ani Klec na umiskor ng 7-6, 6-1 decision kontra kay McDonald sa first round main draw ng $15,000 Croatia Satellite noong Abril.

Dinaig naman ni Yoon Yongil ng Korea at kasalukuyang pang 156 sa daigidig, ang kababayang si Park Seung-Kyu, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 upang isa-ayos ang second round na pakikipagtagpo kay Simon Dickson ng Great Britain, na nanaig naman kay Filipino wild card Michael Mora III, 6-1, 6-3.

Sa iba pang laban, pinatalsik ni Jurek Stasiak ng Poland ang fourth seed na si Donavan September ng South Africa, 6-4, 7-5 habang iginupo naman ng second seed na si Danai Udomchoke ng Thailand ang isa pang Filipino wild card na si Rolando Ruel Jr., 6-1, 6-1 upang ilista ang kanilang pangalan sa second round ng torneong ito na suportado ng ITF Grand Slam Development Fund, Phinma Group of Companies, PSC, Wilson Balls, Manila Midtown Hotel at Viva Mineral Water.

Umabante rin sa second round sina No. 8 Christian Dillschneider, na nanalo kay Chung Hee-Seok ng Korea, 6-4, 6-4, at Domenic Marafiote ng Australia na nanaig kay local wild card Delo Abadia, 6-4, 6-3.
