Harte Hanks Phl partners with Taguig school

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Harte Hanks Philippines, one of the world’s leading marketing services organizations, officially signed an agreement with Gen. Ricardo R. Papa Sr. Memorial High School-Annex in Taguig City under the Adopt-a-School program of the Department of Education.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Harte Hanks committed to donate desktop computers and to convert one of the school’s classrooms into a computer laboratory, and will likewise partner with the school for a sustainable learning enhancement program focused on computer literacy.

The learning program, which will be implemented in 2015, aims to provide learning opportunities not just to students, but also to members of the community around the school. The program will include free training sessions conducted within the school to be conducted by volunteer Harte Hanks employees.

The company understands that a stable educational foundation requires learning facilities that can keep up with the current demands and trends in technology. Thus, it continues to advocate better learning to assist today’s young minds in further developing their skill sets, growing and improving as individuals, and eventually establishing bright careers and securing not just their own future, but also the country’s.

This initiative is just one of many covered by Harte Hanks Philippines’ corporate social responsibility program called LIFT, or Leading and Inspiring The Future.
