Angel Net boosts anti-cybercrime program

MANILA, Philippines - PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group in partnership with Globe Telecom held the Angel Net Summit recently at Camp Crame, Quezon City, with the theme “Safeguarding Our Children From Internet Dangers.” This forum was participated in by select companies sharing new knowledge and approaches that would contribute to the research and prevention of cybercrime, especially among children. Expressing their commitment to this cause is Globe broadband brand Tattoo that shared the technology the brand carries to advocate cyberwellness. Signing the covenant wall in support of cyberwellness were NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba, AntiCybercrime Group Director Police Senior Superintendent Gilbert Sosa and Tattoo Home Broadband marketing director Joseph Hans.Through Angel Net, the PNP ensures the protection of children against Internet fraud, cyber stalking, cyber bullying and other Internet related abuses. Angel Net has a 24/7 operations center and website that serves as a complaint center where people can report their cases.
