Pinoys top 2012 hiphop championship

MANILA, Philippines - Dance teams from the Philippines won the 2012 Hiphop International Dance Championship held on Aug. 5 in Las Vegas.

The University of the Philippine dance team The Crew won over teams from Mexico and the US, as well as teams from Canada, South Africa, France and India that made up the rest of the eight finalists.

Another  dance  team, The UP Streetdancers, bagged third place in the Mega Crew competition.

The A-team, also from the Philip- pines, made it to the finals of varsity division but two-time world champions the Philippine Allstars failed to reach the finals in the adult division. There was no Philippine team in the junior division.
