DPWH Governance excellence Seal awardee

 MANILA, philippines - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was conferred the Governance Excellence Seal by the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) and the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) for outstanding progress in its good governance program under the Performance Governance System (PGS) as well as the agency’s unwavering commitment to reform in the Philippine public sector. DPWH garnered the highest average rating from the select panel of citizens and governance experts who evaluated the progress report presented by Secretary Rogelio Singson during the Public Governance Forum held recently. Receiving the award from NCC co-chair Guillermo Luz and ISA founding chair Jesus Estanislao is DPWH Undersecretary Raul Asis with members of the DPWH PGS-Technical Working Group (from left) Ricardo Bamero Jr., Geronimo Alonzo and Elizabeth Pilorin.
