Rotary Homes break ground

MANILA, Philippines - Rotary Homes chairman Sid Garcia (third from left) and Parañaque Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. (center) led the groundbreaking rites for the first cluster of 14 houses for Rotary Homes, the community development project of District 3830 Rotary Homes Parañaque Foundation, Inc. (RHPFI) and the city government of Parañaque. The ceremony took place at the project site along C-5 Road in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque recently. RHPFI aims to save the polluted Parañaque River by building a decent community for 1,500 of the 2,500 families living along the banks of the river. Also in photo are Parañaque Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Maynilad Water’s Regino Cruz, Rotary District 3830 Governor Billy Villareal and CFC ANCOP Tekton Foundation chairman Jose Yamamoto.
